The third and final season of A Discovery of Witches premiered January 7, 2022 in both the UK and USA. The season consisted of seven episodes.
Synopsis[]
In the final series of A Discovery of Witches, Matthew and Diana return from their trip to 1590 to find tragedy at Sept-Tours. They must find the missing pages from the Book of Life and the Book itself before it’s too late. Their enemies are gearing up against them, and a monster from Matthew’s past who has been lying in wait will return for revenge.[1]

- On November 2, 2018, Sky One renewed A Discovery of Witches for a second and a third series before the first season finale was broadcasted.[10]
- On August 25,2020, Steven Cree revealed that he was on his way to his first costume fitting for season 3.[11]
- On September 2,2020, Steven revealed that he had gone onto another costume fitting, and teased that it was "cool as fuck".[12]
- On September 7,2020, Deborah Harkness revealed that filming for Season 3 began on this day.[13]
- On September 8, 2020, Steven Cree revealed he was officially back on set to shoot for Season 3.[2]
- On October 10,2020, during the New York Comic Con's virtual event it was reported that Season 3 was filming at Wolf Studios in Cardiff.[14]

- On February 08, 2021, it was revealed that it took 6 months to shoot this season amidst an ongoing global pandemic, but as of this date, they officially wrapped on Season 3.[15]
- On February 15, 2021, the casting of Olivier Huband as Fernando was announced. It was revealed that a new cast member would be announced every day that week.[4]
