Season 3[]

While Rebecca is of a restless temper, Philip is a calmer baby. Matthew notices that Jack is very affectionate with the baby and confirms to him that he hears his blood singing well, his witch DNA is predominant. When the young vampire asks him if he will cast spells, and seeing them so close, Matthew wonders if he hasn't already.

On the day of the baptism, all of Philip's first names are revealed and the godparents take an oath to protect him and his sister, and to guide them. The twins are quickly taken to safety at the castle when things turn sour between Matthew and Baldwin.

Diana shows her children the beauty of magic.

When Marcus desires to bolster the ranks of the Knights of the Order of Saint Lazarus, he comes up with several names, including Rebecca and Philip. The goal is to let it be known that if someone attacks one of them, they attack all of them, it is a way of letting them know that they are protected. Matthew and Diana represent them at the ceremony, take the oath on their behalf, and collect the signet ring for them.

The Book of Life teaches Diana that her children, Rebecca and Philip, are bright-born, children born of a weaver and a blood-raged vampire. This is made possible because both parents possess sufficient amounts of demon DNA.
